An iPad application that takes users through a series of questions which help profile their attributes ,and what careers might be appropriate to them.
Part of Glasgow Science Centre ‘My World of Work’ Exhibit funded by Skills Development Scotland.
This iPad career strengths app features a sequence of brain profiling mini games and tasks. The user completes these in order to be informed of some of their key strengths. Suitable careers are suggested along with video insights from people in certain industries.
Built for the My World of Work suite within Glasgow Science Centre, the iPad app sees a high degree of engagement and has proved a very useful tool for Skills Development Scotland in terms of engaging younger people about careers in a fresh and modern way.
The careers app has been duplicated in other hubs around Scotland and has migrated online through HTML5.

The app, as part of the Careers Suite at Glasgow Science Centre, was awarded the Best Use of Technology in Career Development at the National Careers Awards 2014.’
