About
This touchscreen application is a freeform, icon-based careers explorer aimed at younger teenager. It is part of the My World of Work careers hub within Glasgow Science Centre. Each screen can accommodate multiple people interacting with the information at the same time.
Users interact with colour coded icons. When tapped, the icons open to reveal information about industry types, including jobs and videos about any particular industry.
The aim of the application was to take text based subject matter and make it more user friendly and engaging. The overall objective is to engage young people in Scottish careers in the STEM industries.
